On the first day you wear your orthoses, wear them for 2 hours.

If your feet or legs ache or hurt, take the orthoses out and start again the next day.

You should increase the time you wear your orthoses by 2 hours each day.

There is no rush because your posture needs time to readjust. Any irritations that may occur usually settle down within the first few weeks.

Orthoses covered with shock-absorbing material should be “aired out” regularly and maybe wiped over with a damp cloth.

Your orthoses may need to be periodically changed as the foot adapts to a better functional position. Monthly and annual reviews are recommended.

If you have any concerns or problems regarding your orthosis contact us to make any necessary adjustments.
